A:AnswerEuro-Kera is the cooktop manufacturer. The K is their logo. It is a joint venture between Saint-Gobain and Corning, Inc. They are both respected cooktop manufacturers according to the website (www.eurokera.com)
A:AnswerI have tried all of the cooktop cleaners and nothing removes the marks from the top of my Chef collection range. I have very mixed feelings about this appliance, I had to have the motherboard changed within the first 2 months under warranty however appliance repair told me that had it not been under warranty it would have been over $700 for the repair. Since the repair, no issues. I had a "ceran" branded cooktop on my previous kitchen aid and it cleaned up wonderfully with cooktop cleaner... Not this one. My husband said that the new cooktops branded with a "k" in the top left corner of the glass cook top are inferior for cleaning...this chef collection has that "k" unfortunately. I love the oven and its performance but I'm not impressed that I can't make it look perfectly clean on the top. The best thing we have found is manually using a "scrunge" with a lot of elbow grease unfortunately.
A:AnswerI simply store it in the dining room when I need to remove it. But honestly that's really rare. Usually I'm using the smaller top part for everyday cooking. I've only removed it for the 30 pound turkey I roasted perfectly at thanksgiving... in only 3 hours! Btw, no regrets in purchase!
A:AnswerThanks for your interest. The NE58H9950WS is designed to fit in a 30" cabinet cut out. The cook top, however, is 31" wide so it can overlap the counter top by about 1/2" on each side for a seamless, built-in look.

A:AnswerWhen choosing lower oven when divider is removed the oven acts as though it is the larger cavity or in other words the larger oven. That is how my oven works with the divider removed.

A:AnswerI would just avoid ceramic on the glasstop. So I'm very careful with my Dutch oven and pizza stones. All metals pots are safe, since they're not as hard as glass. Remember the MOH scale from middle school science class: harder materials scratch softer ones. Glass is pretty hard, at least harder than metals.
A:AnswerNot sure what bar you're referring to. Do you mean the safety latch that prevents the oven from tipping? As far as u know I didn't install any black bar. This model was not a perfect fit for my 40 year old slide in. Meaning it sticks out into my kitchen a little bit. I could have cut into my counter Formica counter to make it flush, but didn't.
A:AnswerI'm sorry to hear you have scratches on your Range. Please call 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG for assistance determining options for resolving the issue.

A:Answeryes, you can, but it is complicated, because you have to adjust the height first and THEN slide the oven in place. You can't access the feet when the bottom drawer is out because the bottom drawer is a closed compartment due to the warming drawer function. It took us many tries to slide the range in and out to level it.
