Can the divider be moved up or down?   (7 Answers)

      Answer

No, the divider cannot be moved, it stays in one place. So, you have two sections of the oven, the top or the bottom section. If you want to remove the divider you can and you get the whole entire oven (no divider) using one temp.

Can the upper oven's fan be turned off to bake as a conventional oven?   (6 Answers)

Convection ovens are not always suitable for baking. I do quite a bit of baking. I wandered if the fan can be turned off to create a conventional type oven or if there is any other options.

        Answer

Hi BBlair, The upper oven in the NE59J7850WS relies on the convection fan to circulate the heat created by the broiler; since there is no heating element in the bottom of the upper oven only Convection Bake is available. The lower oven, however, can be set to Bake with or without the convection fan. Of course, when in single oven mode, all functions are available, including non-convection Bake. It's worth noting that convection is often the preferred method for baking since it circulates heat more thoroughly so cookies, for example, brown more evenly. Thanks for your question! Ms. Samsung

Hi? Is there a "built in" place to store the divider when it is not being used as a double oven? I couldn't find one and it seems somewhat cumbersome to store every time you decide to use it as a single oven. Thanks!   (2 Answers)

        Answer

No BUT I don't typically use the whole oven. It is too big to store in the lower warming drawer as well. 99% of the time I only use the top portion. So for me putting it aside 1% of the time wouldn't bother me. I absolutely LOVE mine. Plus saves a lot of energy by just heating a smaller area. Hope this helps

            Answer

Hi Tom, The Upper and Lower Ovens are controlled independently, but there are limits to the temperature variance between them depending on which modes and temperatures are set. A detailed chart can be found on page 41 of the NE59J7850WG User Manual which can be downloaded as a pdf file from Samsung's website. Thanks for your interest! Ms. Samsung

HOW DOES THE BROILER WORK?   (3 Answers)

            Answer

Hello Pat! Broil mode is best for meats, fish, and poultry up to 1” thick. Broiling is a method of cooking tender cuts of meat by direct heat under the broil element of the oven. The high heat cooks quickly and gives a rich, brown outer appearance. To set the oven for broiling you can follow the following: To use Twin mode, insert the partition. If you are using Single mode, skip this step. Select the broil setting you want. Press Broil once for Hi or twice for Lo. Use Lo to cook foods such as poultry or thick cuts of meat thoroughly without overbrowning them. Press START/SET. Broil one side until the food is browned. Turn over and broil the other side. Press OFF/CLEAR once you have finished cooking or if you want to cancel broiling. -Cole

              Answer

Hi Leo, The NE59J7850WS is designed to be installed in a standard 30" cabinet opening, so it's fine to install up against the cabinets as long as they meet standard regulations for heat resistance, as described in the installation guide that comes with the Range. These instructions can also be downloaded in advance from Samsung's website. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

Hi Arlene, The lower oven in the NE59J7850WS has a hidden bake element under the oven floor and a third heating element behind the fan which enables the True Convection feature. The Warming Drawer has its own heating element. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
