The Samsung Note has the S-Pen, and specific Apps that are designed to work seamlessly with the S-Pen.

At the time of this posting, the Galaxy Tab 3 is using the Android v. 4.2.2. edition, and the Note 8 is currently using the Android 4.1.2 edition.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 is just a regular tablet with a mediocre specs. And as for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, "hence its name", it comes with a stylus with numerous apps that utilizes its features. Hope this helps out.

the tab is duo core processor.
the note has a quad core.
