A:AnswerYes you can use your current sim card. You will still have to either log into your account at verizon.com or call to have it activated on that line though. Verizon doesn't work like most other carriers where you can just pop in your sim card. It's still a fairly easy process. I just did it with the unlocked S10e on my Verizon line.
A:AnswerThere will be no verizon logo on the phone at all. not the start up, not etched into the glass, nothing. as for basic apps you will need to install them after you turn on the phone, from the play store. Most are available in the play store. Visual voicemail is not, but the samsung voicemail app will connect to verizon. one other thing to note is that Video calling from the dialer (LTE video calling verizon calls it) is not available on an unlocked phone. you will have to use Skype or something like that. On the plus side you won't have all of verizons bloatware installed and can uninstall most everything that you don't want.
A:AnswerIf your SIM card is GSM you can use it with no problem, I take my 10e to Vietnam and put a Vietnamese SIM card in and ready to go. Activation today means you are getting it with ATT Sprint or Verizon and will use it on there network. You need to get the unlocked one without activation today.
A:AnswerIt means the phone is in its original state straight from Samsung's factory, before it gets sent out to cellular companies for brand specific modification. It also means cellular companies e.g. Verizon, T Mobile...etc. haven't got the chance to load their own modified software on the phone. Cellular companies often modify and lock the phones they sell to discourage you from switch to another service.
Unlock phone
Pro:
You can switch cellular service any time. You can use it internationally by simply replace the sim card. No phone company bloatware. You can activate tether without paying extra.
Con:
No cellular company specific software or feature. Slower OS update in USA because Samsung push updates through cellular companies as of now.

A:AnswerShould not hinder your current plan. You will probably accrue an activation fee for getting it set up, so don't be surprised when you get your bill.
A:AnswerYes it will support it as long as your carrier does. You need to register an emergency address with the carrier to enable it. I have Mint mobile and activated it without issue.
A:AnswerI just switched my phone from a locked one to this unlocked S10e. You will not have any issues with keeping your same number. As far as plans, you will need to contact customer support with Verizon to determine if you wish to stay with them or find another carrier. This phone is universally unlocked, so it can be used with any available carriers including prepaid ones. Good luck!
A:Answer“With activation” means you have to link the phone to a cellular service provider at the time of purchase. You would need to do that anyway to be able to use the phone.
As to your particular “prepaid service,” you’d need to check with them (FAQ at website, maybe) to make sure that you can bring over an unlocked phone.
A:AnswerIt is an american unlocked phone... which basically means it supports CDMA and tends toward American Bands of GSM, LTE, UMTS. However it will most likely work elsewhere you will need to check what Bands your carrier in country uses and compare that with the supported bands of this device.
A:AnswerThe pre-order means that u can pay for it right now and once the phone gets to the store you'll be one of the first once to have it..just take the receipt and they'll just give you ur new phone....thats my best answer i could think off
