“Does the Galaxy Tab A 8" have screen mirroring capability? I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab A today from our local Best Buy store. I was told I would be able to mirror its screen through my Roku (model 4200, software vs.7.0) to my TV. I cannot find anywhere in the settings where I can activate screen mirroring. I've also tried using 'SideSync' with no success. If I can't do screen mirroring, it will have to go back!”

Yes it is as long as it has the updated operating system upgrade the system to Android lollipop 5.0.1 it will mirror its screen to a chromecast.

To share your device's screen with another device, follow these steps: Turn on and connect to wifi. From any home screen, tap Apps. Tap Settings. Select the Connections tab. Tap the Screen Mirroring switch to turn on. Tap Scan to locate compatible devices.
