A:AnswerSometimes the counter is a little off, as I mentioned in a review of the device. It's not the worse, but when you are walking, you want to know how manny steps, not wrist movements;you are actually doing.
A:AnswerIf you're sporting an iPhone running iOS 9 or above you'll be able to use the Gear Fit 2 (Not the original Gear Fit 1). That's every iPhone from the iPhone 5 onward.
A:AnswerNo, I just checked as map my run and misfit used to me the apps I used with my pebble. The samsung gear fit 2 does not pair with map my run. But honestly, the device and samsung's S health app work seamlessly together and you really won't need to use map my run anymore. I don't.
A:AnswerI would bet all I own that the answer is NO. I sent mine in for a 3-5 day warranty repair. When it became obvious (through numerous lies and promises that never materialized) that Samsung had lost my Fit2 I requested it be sent back to me in current state (without repair) in an attempt to prove it was lost. As predicted they refused. They bought themselves a couple of more days by saying my repair had been made #1 priority and they would express ship it back that day. When it became obvious that was a lie and with the presumption they has lost my device I would call and ask for managers until they hung up, then I'd call back. Weeks into this they made a confession - however given their ease of lying this may or may not be true. Supposedly Samsung has concluded the battery and motherboard in these devices are unfit and not competitive with other brands so they are trying to redesign. They have exhausted the supply of spare parts and not making any more. So - they could not repair your device even if it weren't lost!
What happens next I can only speculate is a game where they try to void as many warranties as possible and just return the broken bracelets. For others they do promise replacement but the stories thus far run just like the stories when they were faking the repair. We will ship your new replacement tomorrow - tomorrow comes no Fit2 and - so sorry we were waiting on approval from corporate - tomorrow - tomorrow. Sorry for your loss but your way was far less stressful than dragging out the same result for weeks.
A:AnswerNo, Nike pulled their apps from the Gear app store when they made the Apple watch Nike version. Don't know if it will come back. Gear Fit is the best exercise app for the watch.
A:AnswerWhat you'll want to do is to make sure Google Play Music was the last music player you played on your phone. Once you hit play on the watch it will play the last application you had playing. Spotify is a totally different app that comes on the watch. I do wish you could download Google Play Music app for the watch. At any rate..... the watch does have a 4GB internal storage. So you can upload some music directly to the watch itself.
