On my XS, I have found that games can be downloaded to external HD, but when you go to play the game it will not always allow you to play it. I haven’t noted that there is any correlation between the message when you download a game stating ‘this game requires faster speeds and needs to be on the internal HD.’ It seems to be “random” which games play from here and which don’t
