“Number of Remotes ? I already have 3 Remotes - Sony Bravia TV Remote, Dishnetwork DVR Remote and a Sony DVD Player Remote. When I add Sony Sound Bar with Remote, that will make it 4 Remotes -- too many for me the simpleton. Any suggestion in cutting down the number of remotes?”

You may wish to use a Universal Remote which can be programmed to control multiple devices. No remote codes are currently available online for the Remote supplied with the Sony HTCT260 Sound Bar. You may check whether the other 3 Remotes can be programmed. However, it is recommended to use the individual Remotes of each device as it cannot be guaranteed that the Universal Remotes will control the devices and when programmed successfully, only basic functions/operations may work.

If that doesn't work, I know the Logitech universal remotes are fantastic. The harmony 300 would probably be sufficient for you. About $30
