Yes, but you must be careful. The "mute" and "off" are the same button; you just press longer for "off".

          Answer

I had a nokia lumia icon and the button will do certain things depending on what you're doing. It'll pause music if you are listening to it, press it again to restart it. hold it down and depending on the OS you have on your phone hold it down and it will activate voice assistant like Cortana. It is really convenient. just keep in mind when you do get a response it can be very loud. be careful on your settings. You can ask The Nokia's voice assistant Cortana to pretty much do anything, play music, turn it up, turn it down, call somebody...they developed the earbuds with that in mind which is why it only needs one button and volume controls. I have an iPhone now my nokia kept overheating and restarting. I would really reconsider that choice first, just not good phones...and Im a windows guy. they just are lagging behind android and apple so much. Check out a 16gb iPhone first, it'll be cheaper than the windows phone as well. I paid $750 for my ICON that now sits in a box

What earbud would block out snoring?   (5 Answers)

I'm looking for an earbud that will block out snoring that I can use with my MP3 Player. I'm considering the Sony Model MDRE9LPBLU or Sony MDRXB50AP/R. Will either (or both) block out the snoring noise while I listen to Pink Noise or Meditation music? HELP!!! I'm desperate! Or, please refer me to a VERY comfortable (in my ear) earbud that will work. Moderately priced would be appreciated. I don't need this to use with my phone....just my mp3 in bed. Thanks.
