A:AnswerHi JGM5, based on the specifications of this camcorder, you can perform real-time video streaming to a video sharing site such as USTREAM. In addition, you can also send messages to your registered SNS (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to announce that you have started Live Streaming of video. Dave
A:AnswerYes. This camera has a tripod receptacle at the bottom. Attach a tripod (sold separately: the length of the screw must be less than 5.5 mm (7/32 in.)). Depending on the specifications of the tripod, this product may not attach in the proper direction.

A:AnswerHi Jims, The battery model is NP-BX1 (rechargeable)

Expected recording time with NP-BX1 : Continuous recording time (115 min), Typical recording time (55 min)
A:AnswerNo (but kind of yes). This camera has 8 Gig internal memory. For the settings I use, that's about 25 minutes of video -- plenty for most uses, But with only 8G, you run the risk of running out of space when you need it most!
There's no right or wrong answer on the size of card to use. I prefer 32G - it's big enough to hold many filming sessions (e.g., a whole vacation), but not so big that you run the risk of losing a HUGE amount if the card is misplaced (or stolen...).
A:AnswerThis comment pertains only to using the camera with "OBS". We connected the camera through the Elgato HD60 -- HDMI from camera to HD 60, USB from Elgato HD60 to computer running OBS software. We have been able to use the 440, but only after first connecting a SONY AX53 (same settings as far as we know), OBS "sees" the camera, so we disconnect it and replace it with the 440, which then works. It remains a mystery why this works, but we have tried to get things working often enough to know, at this point, that "priming" with the AX53 works. If anyone knows the answer to this mystery, we would love to hear it. So, yes, the 440 will work with OBS for streaming {with Elgato HD60) after first "connecting" with the AX53, then substituting the 440. Good Luck.
A:AnswerHi Ann-Marie, no, the date and time are recorded automatically and can be displayed only during playback. For more information, check this link: http://helpguide.sony.net/cam/1440/v1/en/contents/TP0000557875.html?search=date. I hope this helps, Dave
A:AnswerHi Terry, the camcorder only has a built in microphone. For wireless microphone, you would have to record the audio separately and sync the audio in post using editing software.
A:AnswerAlthough not a definite answer (as I haven't done it myself) you probably can if u can connect your PC via HDMI. This camera has an HDMI out port which serves to stream it's video out to a TV, for example.
