I was not able to with an IPhone SE 2020, I could hear the ring but needed to grab my phone to answer and talk. Would not keep connected to talk,

However, you can answer a phone call and hang up by pressing buttons on the earbuds. And, using voice commands, you can have Siri or Google initiate a phone call for you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can perform these operations from buttons on each earpiece. These are connected via Bluetooth to your phone that MUST be in range, just as any Bluetooth device. Your phone does not need to be within "reach" but it does need to be within range.
