• It is compatible with the Xbox One. The box comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack adapter to plug right up to the controller. However, you'll only be able to modify the RGB lighting and utilize DTS:X on a PC via the USB port.

• It totally works with XBox ONE as long as you have one of the newer controllers with the headset jack or the adapter for the older controller. The USB soundcard is detachable, and it comes with a 3.5mm plug that you can use to go wired into the controller. You just don't get the RGB illumination that way.

• It IS compatible with Xbox One via the 3.5mm jack on the newer controllers (otherwise via the chat adapter). It just doesn't support all of the powered USB features like lighting.

• I think it's because the XBone you need an adapter for almost any headset to work on it. Slot of consumers do it too.
