I have HBO Max on my newest and had it on the previous Roku also. But when we first subscribed to HBO Max, i could not get it thru my Roku and could only use it separately on my iPad. Sometime around December 2920, Roku added HBO MAX as an option to stream. When I just upgraded to a newer Roku, I was still able to use it to access HBO Max.

No. There is a licensing disagreement between HBO and Roku. You can get HBO, but not HBO Max. So you can't watch shows like Fresh Prince, Friends, or Big Bang Theory.
