Yes it is compatible , the threaded screw and spring loaded stud are both used with video cameras. If your camera has one threaded hole the spring one just pushes flat against bottom of camera .

This is a response to the previous answer. The retractable rod actually pops into a hole on some camcorders. My guess is either for alignment or stability.

The second screw is for either attaching your camera for macro work, or attaching a weight for windy conditions.

Theres only one screw used to attach it to the camera. It does have the option of using a smaller screw but the one it came with fits most cameras of many brands.

As long as it can be mounted on the 1/4" screw then yes the other thing is not a screw it retracts into the plate not sure on it's actual purpose.
