You do not need a tile on your phone, as the individual tiles on your keys or wallet for example, can be pressed to make your phone ring.

The sticker is too thick for a phone.
I am not sure about battery just yet, but it has been attached to phone for months with no issues.
Sticker adhesion is very strong. I have a tile on my cellphone and it hasn’t moved a bit or come off. It peels off easy enough if you want to reposition or put it on another item. Not sure if the battery life as I’ve had mine since early Dec. 2019.
The key fob works great and the wallet fob. I haven't stuck them to anything. The nice part is it has an app for your phone, so if you misplace your phone, you press the button on your fob to locate it. (Phone on, of course). When looking for keys or wallet, you use the app to ring those items and it will also display area. Hope this helps.
You don’t need the sticker for the phone. You use the app and the tiles to find each other. Squeeze the tile to find the phone. My son used the stickers for other “important” items like his vape. The tile battery in my first tile lasted over a year.
