A:AnswerNo, you do not have forever to use the 60 minutes. The 60 minute card gives you 90 days of phone service. If you reach your 90 days, and you don't buy another card, the remaining minutes will disappear as well as your cell service. The main thing with TracFone is that you're buying their air service. If you continue to replenish your airtime, all unused minutes will automatically carry-over. They have numerous card combinations available with a selection of minutes and air time. If this sounds a bit too confusing, google tracfone for their explanation.
The program has served me well since my usage is low and don't want to pay the rates charged by Verison, ATT, etc in order to have cell & internet capability. But, on the other hand, I don't have coverage outside of the U.S. I've been using this system for many, many years and currently have 2,700 minutes to use. Doubt I'll ever use them, but that's the way they carry-over. Hope this helped.
A:AnswerThe service airtime cards do not expire. So yes, you can add them when you need to. Just remember to add them before you current service date ends. If you have a smartphone you can buy service airtime cards/plans directly from your phone. Saving a trip to the store. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerHi. This is Cristy from TracFone Wireless. Yes. When a new card is added to your phone, any existing balance of minutes rolls over. Unused airtime will not expire if deactivated service is reactivated within 60 days of the deactivation date.
A:AnswerNot a separate cost. You just buy an airtime service card of your choice by your service end date. This keeps your service active. They have a card for 30 minutes for $9.99 but you only get 30 days. Tracfone has many plans for any needs. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerHi. This is Cristy from TracFone Wireless. Yes, this will work to your Samsung J7 device. Aside from purchasing and redeeming this plan, you will also need to have the TracFone Bring Your Own Phone (BYOP) SIM Kit to active your phone. For more information, you can text the word BYOP to 611611. Thank you.
A:AnswerHi. This is Arianne from TracFone Wireless. We would like to inform you that all new Smartphone releases will no longer have the Triple Minute feature. However, as an incentive to our customers, all TracFone customers who upgrade from a feature phone to a Smartphone will get the Triple Minute benefit as a promotion for upgrading to a new Smartphone. Also, if customers currently have the Triple Minute on their Smartphone, it will be transferred to the new Smartphone. Thank you.
A:AnswerHi. This is Arianne from TracFone Wireless. We would like to inform you that you can activate a phone by getting a new phone number, transfer an existing phone number, or port an active phone number from another company. New phone numbers are automatically assigned by the system depending on the ZIP code you provide upon activation. Thank you.
A:AnswerMy sales associate at Best Buy had the courtesy to take the time to activate my phone. It took him about 15 minutes.
I'm glad I didn't try to do it myself.
A:AnswerGeek Squad came and got my iPhone Tracfone Service reactivated quickly, in my home, after I’d spent hours trying to get this done by calling Tracfone myself to reactivate my phone service without success. Geek Squad always provides excellent service.
