Having set up component stereo systems over the years, I have always been conscious about the frequency response/amperage for driving speakers - and no, I could not afford high-end systems (ex. McIntosh, etc.) when I did so.
Anyway, I just purchased these last night for our speakers. until I saw your question, for some odd reason I didn't even think of checking the specs. I was simply AMAZED by the sound that this inexpensive bar put out. The highs were crystal clear (you could hear the definition between instruments, and in some cases STRINGS on guitars! I could not only hear, but you could FEEL the bass. Obviously, the channel separation may not be as wide as a component system may offer, but there was enough that it made listening to music incredibly a pleasure!
Now...curiosity has got this cat... I've got to check the specs on my own!
