Yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The My Book Duo has no internal capability to copy data from another external drive. You can hook the My Book Duo to your computer along with your older drive(s) and use your computer to consolidate your old data onto the My Book Duo. If you are short on USB ports on your computer, you can plug up to 2 other drives via the USB-A hub on the My Book Duo. Your computer will see each drive as a separate disk.

After that, just plug the new and the old drives into your laptop, desktop or a HUB. Drag and drop the data. It's super easy. I discovered the hard way that the data transfer is MUCH slower if you have both the new and old drives plugged into a HUB. It's more efficient to plug at least one of the external hard drives directly into one of your lap or desktop. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes as it acts as a USB hub or, if your drives are desktop drives you can eject one of the drives, place old drive in and copy to 2nd drive.
