This particular model can be used in most towers. I personally used it in an older low profile tower. The additional port can be taken off to make the card smaller.

      Answer

On a Windows 7 Pro system I could only get 2 of the 3 displays active. Windows display properties shows all three screens, but one was always inactive. Trying to enable it, or even just clone one of the other two screens (which is actually what my client was after) did not work. VGA, DVI, and HDMI -- I could select any two. Was attracted to the fanless/noiseless design, and modest power needs of this one.

Must have PCI-x16 slot (some PCs only have 1). My i7 HP PC has the correct slot and it still doesn't work. I have 2 of them and neither worked so it's not simply a defective one. Note: Windows support on the box stops at Windows 8.1 so its old.

The card itself is an R5-220A, maybe you got an incorrect exchange, but if you did the R7 is suppose to be better. Good luck

According to the specs on your motherboard, this card will work if you are not currently using the PCI x 16 slot for anything else. You may also need a new power supply 400W+. I would bring the system to a BestBuy and let the Geek Squad help you out. Enjoy

I added this card to a Dell Optiplex 755 standard bay Mid-size desktop - The Optiplex came with 4Gigs of Ram - I added 4 more to be safe... - The card requirements do ask for a Gig of your Ram.
