- Answer 3rd part cards are usually more since they come overclocked and with beefed up cooling. This is normal.

- Answer 3rd party cards are often above MSRP as they are usually overclocked and have different/better cooling. So pretty much usually a little better than the reference(OEM) model.

QuestionOn the reviews there are people mentioning about coild whine and a problem in the vapor chamber causing a recall. Is this all resolved now?

- Answer That vapor chamber issue was with the XTX card, not this one. My card has zero coil whine and the cooler works great. My hot spot temp has not gone over 79C under a gaming load.
