• To be honest it won't make a huge difference as these are really more background sound. I would not go any smaller than 14 or 16 guage

• The biggest you can get, depending on how long your run is to the amp. Go for 12AWG (to 50'), if longer then 14AWG. Smaller works, but limits bass end. These speakers don't project that much bass as is.
