Yes it is. these newer phones don't work with built in screen protectors anymore. So I recommend you get one.

Yes i use both of those products on galaxy and they are compatible. I wouldnt use anything else to protect my phone

I had mine installed by the Geek Squad and it worked perfect with my Otterbox Defender case. I have had to have it replaced twice since it was installed. It protected my screen perfect.

Yes the screen protector fits well. I recommend purchasing the tempered glass screen protector as it give best protection and does not scratch with use.
