Q: QuestionIf I am paying Best Buy to install this, will I need to purchase any additional pieces, such as a power cord, filters, etc. ~ or will the installers bring everything needed to do the job?

• A:Answer Best Buy installed it wrong and it came crashing down while I was cooking, ruining the meal. They had used only 4 short screws to install this hunk of metal. I will never use Best Buy for installation again!

Q: QuestionCan this hood be installed without being under a cabinet? I want the back wall with my quartzite to be unobstructed. There is no cabinet above to put the hood under! I just want a very small sleek hood.

• A:Answer Hi Willy, The aluminum mesh filters installed by the factory are intended to filter out residue and grease from cooking. They need not be replaced on a regular basis but are required to be kept clean. Remove and clean by hand or in dishwasher using a non-phosphate detergent. Discoloration of the filter may occur if using phosphate detergents, or as a result of local water conditions - but this will not affect filter performance. This discoloration is not covered by the warranty. Spray degreasing detergent and leave to soak if heavily soiled. Dry filters and re-install before using hood. Replacement part number for these filters are 50200012, which can be purchased at our parts store: https://store.zephyronline.com/en/aluminum-mesh-filter/50200012.
