This sprinkler system brain is phenomenal. It does exactly as it describes. Install and wiring were super simple. My only gripe is that you can't input 2 types of sprinkler heads per zone when setting the system up. I have 1 zone that half of it is drip irrigation, and it would be nice if the system recognized that. It would probably increase the length of watering for that particular zone. That's the only reason it doesn't have five stars; in fact if It would let me I would give It 5.5 stars This system will save you water with the intelligent weather skips.

This is a very good product. It was easy to install, and right after installing the Rachio the water cycle recommendation for my yard, will allow me to start saving right away on my water bill. The app is very helpful and having the power to monitor and control my sprinkler unit from anywhere is awesome...

I had been looking for a wifi enabled irrigation controller for some time so I could monitor and control my lawn watering, as well as to upgrade from the old Watermaster irrigation controller that was in the house before we bought it. The replacement to the Rachio 8 zone controller was very easy, including the wiring and setup in the app. Using the app I can easily turn on and off any of my 6 zones, as well as set up custom watering schedules. When the schedule starts and stops, I get a notification. It also tracks weather for the set zip code, and knew not to water at 6am a couple weeks back when the temperature was close to 32 degrees. I bought a second unit for our Florida home along with a separate rain sensor that should connect very easily. Highly recommended.
