This was my first mechanical keyboard. I was concerned about how loud the key clicks might be before purchasing this product. Turns out the key clicks aren't annoying at all and I find it fun to see how fast I can type and each key click gives me satisfaction. None of the keys stick or have broken after two months of purchase and I expect this keyboard to have a long lifetime.

Impressive tactile feedback, but the amount of noise generated by Razer's "clicky" switches ala Cherry MX Blue is excessive. Backlighting is attractive and must be left on if you ever want to see the key cap labels (in Razer's "futuristic"/illegible font). Macro keys at left are too close to the rest of the keys for my liking, probably convenient for gaming, not so much for typing. Multimedia keys are foolishly placed on useful F-keys so it's unlikely you will be able to leave those enabled, necessitating use of the Fn key to activate something as simple as volume up/down/mute. Returned and replaced with Corsair K70. If you don't mind the macro key placement, lousy multimedia controls, and unusual font on the keycaps, then I would also recommend checking out the Blackwidow Stealth for $81-99 (no backlighting, quiet switches) because the feedback from the Razer switches is still pretty impressive to me, very comparable to MX Blues, so I wonder if their quiet keys feel like MX Browns. Why I'm keeping the Corsair K70: outstanding Cherry MX Red switches (super linear, and nearly silent movement compared to this this Razer chatterbox), useful wrist rest, aluminum build quality, and dedicated multimedia keys with a volume roller.

It is a good keyboard. i personally bought it for the sensitive touch keys and it met my expectations, but the only disappointment was that I had to seperatly download a macro binder from a website. It would have been easier if the keyboard came with a disk.
