Quality and feel of a MacBook Pro, but different. The Mercury color is just aluminum, which is the same color and finish as a macbook pro. I've only had this computer for less than a week. I really like it. I bought it to run solidworks CAD on it and so far it is running smooth. The screen has amazing resolution so i have all my taskbar icons tiny and get more usable space out of the screen. It is touchscreen, which I don't really know if I'll be using. I would have liked to save money as I don't feel I needed that but didn't see an option. Admittedly I don't have much experience with laptop touchscreens and can only compare to my iPad Pro 12.9in. This laptop touch screen I can zoom in and out but it lags when compared to the ipad. Comparable to scrolling on Android vs scrolling on iPhone. iPhone scrolls more smoothly in my experience. The webcam is the biggest joke (disappointing surprise) 0.9 megapixel, takes me back to like 2001 flip phone cameras. its pathetic. I'll attach a photo of the settings within the camera app. The highest quality it allows is 0.9 and it is insufficient. The trackpad is smooth and works very well. it is very sensitive though and my cursor moves around while I'm typing because the bottom of my hands are positioned over it. battery (fully charged) will give me about 4 hours but I can adjust settings to make it stretch longer. This computer can compute without getting too hot. I had another laptop that i paid $3k for which was super loud with the fans and got really hot when it was working. This one has 2 fans on bottom and is pretty quiet and cool. This is awesome. The speakers definitely get loud but they don't have bass, so just imagine loud treble. At least you can turn it up and hear in a somewhat noisy environment but its not super high quality which I did expect for a $4k laptop. Overall, I really like this computer and am glad I bought it. I do plan on making educational videos and will be forced to buy a webcam because the one that came with it is not usable. While inconvenient, I place more priority on the graphics card specs and internal ram and up to 5.1ghz speed processor. I'm hoping this computer lasts me a very long time!

It's a great laptop for content creators. The colors are bright and vibrant with fast uploading and downloading times. It looks professional and it does not appear like a gaming laptop. Razerblade has done a great job improving their thermals relative to their prior laptops for the six months I've used it. In my opinion and experience with razerblade and macbooks Apple should strive to build their laptops in a manner similar to Razer's Studio edition.

I create architectural 3D renderings. I have searched high and low for a laptop that performs well and looks good too. For years I chose beauty over brains because I didn't want to carry around the typical gamer machine. Finally, there is a solution for graphic/visual artists, interior designers/architects, and content creators! So if you are seeking a beast for 3D rendering, while multi-tasking (rendered a full-size image in 3ds Max with 2 Adobe programs, 10 Internet tabs, and Revit model open) and looks good in front of clients; nothing compares to this. I originally purchased the Blade 15 Base and decided to upgrade for the Studio Edition as I was unable to multi-task while rendering on the base model. Pros: -Quadro is a thing of beauty. Rendering time is greatly reduced. -4K screen is bright and expressive. -Touchscreen -Fan doesn't come on as often as the machine takes on programs with ease (the Blade 15 model was always popping on, even while browsing the internet). -Sleek and great looking, similar in style to a Macbook Pro. -Chroma keyboard can be customized which is really cool. -Value for specs. Cons: -Weight of the laptop and power cord don't allow this to be the most portable machine. -Heat issue still occurs, it literally doubles as a hand warmer even with minimal use.
