After using MacbookPro's for the last 17 years of my professional life, I finally made the jump to WinPC. Many issues has held me back, but with with RazerPro I finally made the jump, and here's why: Mobile Desktop : I can take this powerhouse on the road to any client office. I don't work 'in transit' so I'm not worried about length of battery life or power throttling while in battery mode. Build quality : Solid. Visually a beautiful piece to look at. Everything feels solid and professional. I like the backlit keyboard, but I think that's standard now-days? The trackpad works flawless, they keyboard is almost perfect from what I expect from a laptop keyboard. The speakers are good enough for my personal use of music, videos/movies & gaming, but not the best for professional use (They're laptop speakers). It has all the ports that I need, and no dongle-issues. This machine is my new workstation for the Adobe suite. Mostly Photoshop and AE. But I feel that I can start experimenting with 3d software with this powerhouse w/out fear of having a too weak computer for either CPU or Graphics card processing. The RazerPro proves that you can build power into a thin design w/out sacrificing on quality or good design: I can comfortably walk into a freelance office (once Covid's over) and pull this bad-boy out instead of the default MPB. It's not a Gucci bag, but a professional tool that still manages to look good, while pulling it's weight! Future proof: Neither RAM or SSD are soldered on, so I can upgrade this machine as I need up to 64GB ram and whatever the current max will be for when I upgrade the SSD. BONUS :: one empty ssd slot as well, so your first ssd upgrade will be an add-on, not a substitute!! Further down the road upgrade. Razer has external GPU so even if the graphic card would be outdated, or I would need even more power I can get a desktop-grade graphics card! What made me do the jump from apple to Razer/win: -Build quality and design. -17inch screen and the powerful processor & graphics card. -no dongles. -Price & Upgradable. -Ease of mind : Razer's new care program with up to 3 years!!

Had the Razer 15” but traded up for this because my eyes are getting worse. On a scale of 1 to 10, the 15” was an 11, but this 17” is still a 10. Love it!!
