Great headset for $129!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this headset because to match my other Razer peripherals. Let’s address the other bad reviews right away. A lot of them are either false or by someone who doesn’t know what they are doing. THX sounds great in the right applications and should be used at higher sound volumes. It’s very immersive. I recommend using THX Surround for when you watch movies and videos maybe some Single player games. For FPS games or more competitive games use THX Stereo or just turn off THX and use the headset in Stereo. With some simple EQ settings you can hear footsteps from a mile away and it’s very detailed. On the mic turn sensitivity all the way up leave everything else off. For a wireless headset these absolutely kill it. The mic is clear and sound better then you can ask for. People will hear and understand you. They are not heavy like people say you can barely feel them in your head. Very very comfortable and the cooling ear cups actually work. Forsure when you have short hair you can feel it against your skin. Lol kind of a weird feeling how cold it is. I was annoyed at the auto adjusting headband at first but now I’m used to it and really like it. Battery life with RGB on set to 75% last me around 4 days of gaming at about 2hrs a day and 75% volume. More then enough. The Haptic feedback is really cool. But know when to use it. It’s not a gimmick and it works really well just use it right. Combined with THX surround sound and haptic feedback watching movies is amazing. Beats all other headphones out there period. In single player games the Haptic feedback can make it very immersive. In FPS games it soon becomes annoying as there are way to many gunshots and explosions. It’s nonstop vibration. But it’s not designed for that so. All in all at the on sale price of $129 it’s very worth it. At $199 it’s hard to say. If your big into movies then yes. At $199 it’s a multimedia headset. At $129 it’s a gaming headset that has good options.

Dont just hear the Bass, Feel the BASS these!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have any of you guys ever heard of the Panasonic VMSS Headphones that came with either a Walkman or a Portable CD player? If no, Yes I am that old lol! VMSS stands for Virtual Motion Sound System. Panasonic was using this back in 1996 and discontinued it in 2000. Well I used to have one of those Walkman players with the VMSS headphones and have been wanting to find some that were just like those but Better! Well today I got my wish Granted with the Amazing Razer Nari Ultimate. The convenience of these Nari Ultimate Headphones is that they work with any smartphone or media player that accepts a 3.5mm headphone jack, now these here are NOT Bluetooth enabled, they do work wireless but with a 2.4ghz small size USB thumb drive that is stored on the Nari Ultimate. They worked on my PS4 and even my PS5 with the USB connected for wireless use or plugged into the ps4 or ps5 headphone jack on the controller, however on my Windows 7 PC it kept making weird crackling sounds with the usb connected like if it there was a lose headphone wire not connected properly, when I tried it with the 3.5mm headphone jack, it worked 100% with clean and clear Audio no crackling sounds. But the only way to adjust the Haptic feedback and to change the Chroma RGB lighting etc is through the Synapse software with the USB adapter plugged in. With the 3.5mm jack, you don't have the option to change the rgb color or turn it off or adjust the haptic feedback, however you can keep the headphones with audio through the 3.5mm jack with the Haptic feedback off by simply powering down the headphones, it will turn off the RGB lighting and the haptic feedback and you can enjoy the Nari Ultimate without the extra features. However the haptic feedback is what makes this fun. Anyways I fully charged them right out of the box then I updated the drivers for the Nari Ultimate on my pc. From a full battery, I got to use the Nari Ultimate for 6 hours at max volume with the Haptic feedback on and RGB lighting on which stays on solid green on the 3.5mm headphone jack operation. Overall I really like the headphones, I was able to feel the bass on all the hip hop music I was listening and I could feel the punches and kicks from playing Dead Or Alive 6 on my PS5. I honestly recommend these headphones they sound excellent! For the sound: on a scale of 1 to 10 Bass: 9 with out haptic feedback, 10 with Haptic feedback Midrange: 7 it sound pretty good on its own but using the Nari Ultimate with my Shure SHA900 Portable headphone Amp I was able to dial it in to my liking. High Frequency: 10 it has very crispy highs and you can hear everything from stepping on grass in a game to the high hat sounds on music. The haptic feedback feels awesome but I wish it could manually be adjusted as it can get overwhelming at times but still awesome. Hopefully on the next version Razer will consider having a manual volume wheel for the haptic feedback adjustment just like they have for the volume. Over all I recommend them if you used to own the Panasonic VMSS headphones and wanted to find a new updated version. This is it!

Could use some tweaks but overall good
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really wanted a headset for when I'm not sitting at the PC but still actively in discord. Bonus points because this headset is a bit better than my wired set. Great surround sound and bass. My only gripe is that the drivers for this headset seem to conflict with Discord causing the voice input through the microphone will disconnect. Uninstalling THX Spatial seems to fix this problem however this also disables some features.

Time is the most valuable thing, you can spend.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In terms of a Razer headset it's great, I enjoy using it. Now let's get to nitpicky part, battery life is below average because of some of the features it brings. Haptics/Sound Normalization/Bass Boost/Voice Clarity/Lighting all take away from the battery life. With them all on 4 to 5 hours is the base, with them off you can get 7 to 9 hours. However at that point it makes you wonder if you'd better off with the Nari Essentials 16 hrs. At the end of things you have to pick and choose your battles. If you balance out of the effects you can get 6-7 hours. You also have a limited pool games that the THX Spatial Surround has an actual profile for, it does work for other games but just not to the same level. 2 of the games featured are constantly played by me and I don't play long enough to run through my battery. I also don't recommend trying to plug and play while charging because it drains faster that it charges thus causing constant low battery beeping in your ears and just not worth it. Another thing that is crucial Razer Synapse is a must in order to update/interface with headset options so while you get some functions you cannot fine tune it like using it with PC(this is a deal breaker for people so just covering my bases ).Also you will need to do a bit of tuning with every game you play some games are just louder than others so always err on the side of caution when booting them up so you don't hurt your ears, because it is extremely easy to boost the master volume on your headset and painfully blast your ears. Also be aware when you put the head set on to mind your thumbs because you will accidentally scroll your master volume all the way up, you will do it at least once and your learn your lesson .All in all! Great gimmick for the games that you play, but if you aren't a moderate video game audiophile on PC just get the Essential.

Razer Nari Ultimate
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product actually blew me away with the sound quality and the fact it had haptic feedback, after using it for over a month id say im very satisfied with the comfort, audio, mic quality, battery, portability, and style. I haven’t had any issues with synapse or any of the audio enhancements on there either so all in all this is a really good headset to invest in.

Best Headset!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is hands down one of the best gaming headsets I've ever owned! The sound, the bass, the THX feature is AMAZING! I would definitely recommend this headset to anyone who enjoys amazing sound either for gaming or listening to music, especially with the HyerSense feature (basically boosted bass). Only 2 small issues I have is i wish it was USB-C and the mic sometimes picks up the audio of what you're hearing but I no longer have this issue as I'm using a HyperX Quad Cast mic. Overall, great headset especially on sale!

Good Quality Headset
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a nice headset, good audio quality, comfortable, and has the unique feature to vibrate. I don’t have any complaints with the battery life personally. Overall, a quality headset and it works for me. Only negative I can think of is its big size.

Answered by MattB
Q: QuestionDoes this come with a USB plug in so it connects wirelessly? or does it require PC to have Bluetooth to work wirelessly?
Asked by Steve.
- A:Answer It has a usb dongle that sits in the headset for storage.
Answered by Carcrasher89
Q: QuestionDo you have to pull out the mic to use it
Asked by Max.
- A:Answer You do not have to pull the mic out to use it, but its not removable it just slides in and out. If the mic sensitivity is too high then it can pick up audio coming from your own headphones if not fully extended.

Q: QuestionCan the green light change?
Asked by GreatTV.
- A:Answer I hooked them up to Razer synapse on my pc, can have any color you want there. I managed to change the color once but it didnt stick because its green by default if not on a pc with razer synapse installed. However, the microphone adjustments and feature tuning like haptics stay after programming, so i have no clue why the color does not. TL;DR Yes, but only on pc, green by default everywhere else.
