This is decent and if you are in the Razer Synapse ecosystem, it works without addintional software. It doesnt work with all fans. It will work with most high end fans but check compatibility. Works with my Be Quiet 140mm RGB case fans. It needs a USB 2.0 motherboard header. You may need an extension cable and possibly some 3M tape. It works well for what it is. It could have better compatibility but overall is nice. Its not hard to adjust the fan speeds and you can set a custom fan curve. It bases the speed off of the CPU temp, not the heat of the case so for gaming, you may have to adjust it.

The main reason I got this is that I already have synaps running all of my razer accessories. It also has 8 fan slots, which a few ive seen have had only 6. Good of you have plenty of case fans. And synapse makes it one click to turn off all your fans for silent streaming movies without any fan noise

I've been burned too many times by Corsair, so I am in the Razer ecosystem with my kb and mouse and I already had Synapse installed. This helped to inform my decision. I would say stick with the ecosystem you're in for your keyboard/mouse. Some may want RGB control, but I'm not a teenager and don't want lights glowing in my PC. I like that the RGB is separate.
