Being a left handed in a right handed world is hard enough as is. I have to be ambidextrous on EVERY level sometimes! However, Razor sent us this gift to enhance our lives and even made it FULLY customizable!!! with the Synapse 3 Software you can do anything from assign key controls for multiple apps to even integrating ALL of your RGB systems across most brands!!! even Phillip's Hue Lights can be integrated into the system for the most dynamic Ambient gaming experience you'll ever have in a lifetime! EVERYONE should by this, even if you right handed!

This will be my fourth Tartarus. I love the ergonomics of these things and that is why I keep buying them, despite they have issues. With every Tartarus I have owned, the switches on the joystick all tend to stick or fail completely if you are too firm with your presses. This bothers me immensely, but what bothers me more is that Razer has been made well aware of the issue in multiple forums posts that they have responded to, yet the issue persists. With the new model came new switches for the entire pad except the joystick. I have only had this for about three weeks now and the joystick is already sticking on form presses. While one would think the answer is simple, don’t press so firmly, I feel like that is a slightly unreasonable request when every other key on the entire pad can take a relentless beating due to the design of the other switches. I would really like to see this product get an improvement either with a different type of joystick like and Xbox or PlayStation joystick which I have never once had fail on me despite firm presses, some type of limiter that prevents the switch from bottoming out and failing, or simply and entire different switch being used that is more durable. Ironically I have taken one of these apart (one of the broken ones) and the switches used for the joystick are some of tiniest switches you will see in these types of applications so I am not surprised that it lacks durability. Unfortunately, the market used to have several different companies making products just like this, but as of right now, this is the only company making a current models with a joystick, and that is the only reason I keep buying them. If you can live without the joystick then it won’t matter and the rest of the keypad is an absolute dream to operate so I would definitely recommend it for that purpose. If you do want to use the joystick, be prepared to buy a new one on a regular basis or finding some creative way to implement your own joystick into it.

Overall I really like it. I had an older model that I loved. They keys started to malfunction so it was time for an upgrade. I found it at best buy and it was on sale for $100. So I bought it. Got it all set up and keys mapped out. I really like the soft, precise feel and sensitive reaction of the keys. Being able to set the key actuation travel distance is a great feature. I only gave it 4 stars because the scroll wheel is way not in a good spot for actual in game use because you have to move your whole hand to reach it. I just use it for show desktop and two other app launches. All in all I love it.
