These headphones sound pretty good, and they work well, but they are a little bulky and heavy. The cord is thick and they do make your neck hurt after a while of gameplay.

Long time razer fan. Always have had excellent products from them. However this headset is truly disappointing. I will give them as being one of the more comfortable head sets as they are light and fit better compared to my g930s. In 2.1 the sound is ok. Bass response is there but lacking. It's like listening to really good headphones. In 7.1 they are truly horrible. I tried two sound cards and my motherboard outputs. All the channels except front are hard to hear. The built in mixer is a joke. Didnt notice any difference adjusting volumes for each channel other then going from hard to hear, to cant hear. Bass response, well the dedicated drivers for that went on vacation when I switched modes. Microphone sounds shrill and has to much static. Also is not noise canceling, and has no sound gate or other tech to help it. And considering it required usb power you would think the drivers are powered. Alas they are not and any gamer looking for a true 7.1 experience is left wondering if it's worth the drive back to the store to exchange/return them considering the cost of gas. Razer had a truly wonderful Idea here, and ruined it worrying about rgb/chroma, magnetic speaker covers that serve no purpose other then to cover the weak lights emitted from the ear cups. Returned for astro a40 tr w/mixamp pro. There $50 more and worth more then double that in quality by comparison.
