Awesome way to save mad money!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item not thinking it was going to be very impressive but when I plugged it in and scanned for channels I had 26 channels to choose from including ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CW and many others. I now get to watch almost everything I ever watched with DirectV but I no longer have a $125.00 bill every month. Anything I can't get over the air I just stream to my t.v. via Google Chromecast. The quality of the video with this antenna is actually better than anything I ever got with cable. I'll NEVER go back to paying for what I can get for free.

Great reception for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it for my cousin that just divorced and I could not believe the reception I got. No pixeling and no freezing and I was pleased on the amount of channels we were able to receive. Overall I was very pleased and I may buy one for myself because with Direct TV I don't get some of the local channels.

Weak signal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought three. The unit did not secrecy any signal on the first floor. 2 second floor units detected about 9 channels. However, we can only watch one local channel. Others have poor quality.

Easy to use and mount. Free HD TV. Cut the cord.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.$25 on sale and free HD TV channels without cable. This works well in a strong signal area as it is not powered. If you can settle for ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, you are all set. In my case, these free HD channels look as good as my FiOS cable TV. Add Netflix, Hulu Plus or Amazon Prime and you have movies and TV shows for much less than any cable bundle. Be sure to check www.antennaweb.org for the right antenna for your location first.

Very good bargain for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.wanted to be able to get the local channels so i got the RCA antenna. figured i'd give it a try, It was cheep enough. worked ok at first, some channels came in great but others were not so great. so i added a longer piece of cable to raise the antenna higher on the wall and it works much better now. I get around 59 channels. thinking of getting another one when i get another TV

Q: Questionwill i have to connect anything
Asked by mat.
- A:Answer in the box you will just have the white antenna with a few feet of coax cable coming out of it. Just attach the end of the cable to your "cable in" jack on your tv and that's the only connection you have to make.

Q: Questionwill i be able to watch regular channel with this antenna like channel 8
Asked by mary.
- A:Answer Yes, regular broadcast channels in hd, depending on how far you are from the tv transmitter. Check on the internet for "HDR tv reception" in your zip code. And the salesperson said I could bring it back if it didn't work, so no problem there.

Q: QuestionCan this antenna be used for older tvs
Asked by Hapharry.
- A:Answer Yes if you have a digital converter which can be bought fairly inexpensively but if you think about the money you save by not paying a cable bill every month you could easily buy a new 55" flatscreen with the money you save in just one year and, let's face it, you deserve it so spoil yourself.

Q: QuestionDid anyone have trouble getting local channels? We don't have NBC,
Asked by Himes5.
- A:Answer Yea I didn't have NBC either but after repositioning the antenna i was able to pick it up. Moving around the antenna can become quite the hassel cuz you end up losing another channel.

Q: Questioncan a thin film antenna be movedonce I have secured the antenna to one place, can I move it to another? doesn't it have to "stick" to the wall?
Asked by squeakywheel.
- A:Answer Yes, you can move it. Mounting to wall doesn't affect the reception. In fact, I placed mine on a pedestal normally used to hold a picture frame or plate on the table just behind my flat screen TV. This allowed me to easily rotate the antenna to get the best reception for one local station (required the antenna to be moved about 90 degrees). A nice antenna, but I'm not that happy with it.

Q: QuestionHow do I know if this will hook up to my converter?I have a RCA digital converter box (DTA800B1}. There is a hookup to the TV rabbit ears and a place to plug in a "smart antenna." I don't want to get this home and find out it won't connect anywhere. How can I tell before buying?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You don't need a converter box for this antenna. Newer tv's have a digital signal already built in. I have a smart tv. It's just plug and go basically.

Q: QuestionCan multiple Tv's in a house use this one antenna? Or do I need one antenna per tv?
Asked by Jess9876.
- A:Answer You can use one antenna for multiple tvs. You need to use a splitter. I recommend using one with an amplifier attached to it. You lose signal strength the longer the wire. That is what I did at my house when we get rid I cable TV.
