I purchased this as a companion piece to my DECT 6.0 Speaker Phone with Digital Answering System which I have just purchased. The speaker phone activated w/o a hitch; however, the instructions were poorly written for this phone so I needed to ask a question with RCA customer service. I was switched to the wrong dept. I called numerous times, but got no help because the tech was busy tending to her baby. I did not receive a satisfactory response other than being told to take the phone back. I finally figured out the answer to my ? by trial & error & the phone is now working today. I probably will think long & hard before making further purchases of RCA products due to poor tech support. This product does not interfere with old TV's or VCR, or computer which was the reason for the purchase of these phones.
