I first heard about LP3 on Little Steven's Underground Garage, and when I heard Girl Like You I had to then buy this CD. What a great band! So refreshing to hear such a continuous barrage of great tunes ranging from pop to rock to punk or any combination of the three. Can definitely hear Kink influences from the You Really Got Me style of guitar riffs to more folk-pop songs like A Well Respected Man. It seems like they even pay homage to the Kinks with a song about Australia, which was also a song with the same title and style from the Kinks album Arthur in the late 60's. I am very anxious to see this band live but after checking their website they will not be in the US any time soon. I will keep checking as this band is the best thing to happen to rock and roll in a long time. The only negative is that the songs are all 3 minutes or less, which makes for a total playng time of about 40 minutes. Still, that was the total playing time of vinyl way back then, and we had no complaints. Buy this CD, you will not be disappointed.
