RE8
||Posted .Owned for 8 months when reviewed. The game has a good pace and there's a lot of action. The environment has a great layout and it's easy to navigate throughout the village. Make sure to play through completion for the final stage and to unlock extra content. I didn't play RE7 so I can't make any comparison. However, I ranked the following PS4 RE titles in order that I completed: 1) RE4 HD 2)RE2 Remake 3)RE8 4)RE3 Remake

Great new chapter to RE!
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I very much enjoyed this game. Unlike other RE games, this one has more options to explore. While still linear in nature, you can re-visit places some places to search for items and explore the scenery. It has an "open world" feel to it which I enjoyed. And the free PS5 upgrade makes the visuals even better.

Great Game!!!!
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.Resident Evil needs to quit! If you didn't need a defibrillator for Biohazard, you need to check your pulse! This game . . . what else can you say about Resident Evil games. Plenty of jump scares! Plenty of stress! Graphics off the chart. Storyline good. Lady Dimitrescu is Momma Dearest!! This game on VR would definitely require oxygen and a defibrillator. Great game! Love it!!!!

RE9 please!!!
||Posted .Owned for 8 months when reviewed. In my opinion RE8 was a much better game than RE7 even though not as scary but the semi open world map and backtracking gameplay had me replaying this game for weeks

A new high point for survival horror fans
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Resident Evil: Village is a direct sequel to Resident Evil: Biohazard that was released 4 years ago. Once again you play as Ethan Winters, and it takes place in first-person (I still prefer the third-person style, but hey). Stunningly detailed graphics, solid gunplay, and a "just right" balance of atmosphere and action make this one of the best Resident Evil experiences yet. After the main story, there's plenty of extra weapons to unlock, and The Mercenaries mode even makes a return. The PS4 runs this one surprisingly well. The graphical detail seems identical to the PS5 version, with little to no pop-in of the assets, but...there are definitely some frame-rate dips here and there. I'd say things run at a respectable 40-45 fps most of the time, which is certainly acceptable. Highly recommended for survival horror fans.

Good. Scary.
||Posted .Owned for 8 months when reviewed.Plenty of scares. Lots of action. Replay value. I liked the character designs. A few annoying points here and there. I kept dying because a prompt would not appear until I was exactly where I needed to be. Nothing major. Overall recommended. Someone please give The Duke a pedicure.
