I've always owned a Sony console since the original PS. Things changed after Sony wasn't able to produce enough of the PS5 consoles, and I was tired of waiting. I honestly will purchase a PS5 when available as I don't find the Xbox to be of any particular great value. The exclusives aren't comparable to those found on Sony's consoles. On PS4/PS5 there are games like Last of Us, Forbidden West, God of War, etc. Xbox has... essentially nothing of interest to me that is an exclusive. But I do love being able to emulate older gaming systems on it. That's a plus.
