I wanted a small microwave for my small apartment. I researched several websites and read reviews. This oven got top reviews for the size and you can't beat the price. It's difficult going from 1100 watts to 700 watts of power, but I'm adjusting. So far, so good. It is noisy, and the push button for the open door needs a firm push so that the over sometimes shifts. Those are the negative features. Otherwise, it looks neat and works well, so for the price I have no complaints.

I love my little Black Insignia MW! It has all the features I wanted including turntable and light that comes on when the door is open and during cooking. The Control Panel is easy to see and use.It's sturdy and stable, no movement when opening or cooking. It fits perfectly atop my Minifrige in my small Room. At 700 watts it's a little slower than larger M/Ws but that's only a small adjustment I was willing to make for the convienience it brings to my Nursing Home Room. It meets all my expectations and looks stylish and sleek. I have nothing but good to report. I highly recommend if you need a compact little workhorse of a Microwave. Best Buy is awesome and thier GeekSquad Customer Service is fantastic at the Polaris Store in Columbus, OH where I purchased it. Thank you James Horton!

When my previous microwave quit I decided to think about a new one with fewer bells and whistles because I had almost never used much of what the previous microwave had. Once I started thinking about spending less, I also researched lower power options. In the end, I replaced a 950-watt oven with this 700-watt oven. I knew “cooking” would take longer, but I decided that wasn’t really a problem for me. The lower power microwave does take longer, but it still does the job fine, and the slower pace is not a problem for me. I’ve used the Insignia microwave several times a day for a couple of weeks, and I am very satisfied with it. I feel this little microwave oven is very solidly built of good materials; it doesn’t seem flimsy or cheap at all. The only negative I would note might be a problem for some folks with arthritic hands. The number-pad buttons require quite a bit of pressure. I don’t have problems with my hands, but I wish the buttons didn’t require such a mighty push! Maybe they will get easier with use, and maybe not all units have the same issue.

This is a very nice microwave for the price. High power, with many good features. I brought this for my son last Christmas who lives in a small apartment and he found it to be simple, roomy enough and easy to operate.

‘‘Twas the night before Turkey Day, and all through the House, not a creature was stirring.... Because my wife was going crazy! One of the kids microwaved a spoon again and damaged our 6 month old over stove mounted unit! No repair man would come in time. I ran to Best Buy hoping to find anything just to get us through the holiday. I purchased this unit on sale for $30! We were amazed at how well it worked. To this day we keep it on counter with other small appliances. The kids are only allowed to use this unit. It’s amazing for 3 times the price and small enough to fit in any tight spot. Light enough to grab and take to cabin on trips as well. Couldn’t be happier!

This microwave is easy to use and works well. It was purchased to replace a larger one we had so it could fit in our new microwave cart and I don't miss the old one. Operation noise is not bad either which is more than I can say for some cheap ones from Walmart that I've owned.

good looking, works very well,takes a little longer to heat or cook,but that can be expected,because of size and watts, but very quiet and we are very happy with this one.

This small Insignia microwave was very competitively priced and has good features. While it is quite small, it has warms food evenly. We are using this microwave while we do a kitchen renovation and we'll give it our college bound daughter.

This microwave is perfect for a dorm room or small apartment. It has limited capacity and is somewhat underpowered but it does what it's designed to do flawlessly. Choose a different model for a house or if you need to feed a multitude.

This is a great little microwave, it's not super powerful but gets the job done. I purchased based on the great reviews and I have been completely happy with it. Best price I could find for similar size and features.

Bought this 36hrs 5minutes and 3 seconds after our range-over microwave quit (12 years old). I don't know why I waited so long. My husband was out of town so I knew it would be a few weeks before we'd be able to replace the range-over. This is a nice little machine but not very roomy. I had to make do with some dishes. I liked it so much though that when we replaced the range over with a bigger one I didn't want to give it up! It heats well not so terribly bulky. I am keeping it for hurricane season because I think we can run it off the generator. Also, it doesn't have that pesky beep until you open the door. Yeah, I know, I found last night's herbal tea one morning but so what! At least it didn't keep nagging me like the new one does. We ended up using it for three weeks since the over range one we wanted was out of stock. There is no way I could have lived that long without a microwave..no way!

I was looking for a small format, simple, and inexpensive microwave. This one did the trick. It fits a full sized dinner plate for leftovers. The turntable works well. It has simple one touch controls. You are not going to be cooking a meal for six in something like this, but it will handle leftovers and microwaveable frozen vegetables like a champ. I dinged it one star because it is not very powerful. Take the max time in the range your directions state and you might still need to add 15% based on my experiences.

This is an easy to install, easy to use microwave. Is Great for the price and has good quality. The size is ok as well. Great option if you're looking for a bang for you're buck.

I love my little microwave! It does everything my over the range microwave does and more. I will replace my big one but I am enjoying this little jewel. And the price is certainly right!

I purchased the good looking white and black window model and it looks nice with the green lights. Perfect for a small kitchen, just big enough for a large plate and heats up good. Makes four dings when its finish heating. Just be sure not remove the brown card inside, that's to protect the machinery. I thought it was the packing material and threw it out. Besides that all is cool.

The microwave looks good and works great. It is an excellent purchase for the money I paid for it. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a microwave.

We purchased this unit to travel with us on our road trips since we found a lot of hotel rooms do not include microwaves or refrigerators! Small, light in weight and easy to use!

I work 2 Jobs so this Microwave is my Best Electric Friend, Great for the price, heats cold meals great. I highly recommend this to everyone. This product is a perfect size .

We have had the same microwave for 8 years, so a change was needed (especially because it wasnt heating food and was literally crumbling on the inside.). This one has some kick to it. Its fast, easy to work and figure out, and most importantly, heats up food!. Im giving it a four, though, because we got it with a huge dent in the back :/
