We bought the camera without the zoom lens and had found that there were times when we could have used it. So we bought the zoom lens and it has worked out great. I have a big cannon camera with all the extra, but it is to bulky to carry around. I really like that I can fit both camera and lens in a smaller case. We took the new zoom lens with us to Disneys Animal Kingdom and it worked great. Recommend it to all.

ZOOM, works like its suppose to. Great images, nice size and weight. Works like a charm!

The Nikon zoom lens that I purchased is just the right size and weight to meet my needs and it does a very good job in helping me take good pictures from a distance.

Took great zoom pictures, easy to use and light weight

I bought this lens to complement the 10mm-30mm kit lens that came with my camera. While it does what it should, it just wasn't long enough to suit my needs. Picture quality was great, and it comes with a lens hood for protection, which is nice. If you want an all-purpose lens without the desire for a long zoom, this lens should suffice. While it worked fine, I actually took it back and am buying the FT-1 adapter so I can run Nikon F-mount lenses, which will give me a wider range of options in the future.

Great lens for any Nikon J1, V1 or V2 owner. This lens, along with the 10-30mm, cover the full focal length for the average photographer. It's a somewhat, sharp lens and does an adequate job for my Nikon 1 V2. I do think that this lens is a little pricey, but that's what the market, currently allows for.

I have mixed reviews about my Nikon J1. It takes clearer pictures than my other point and shot, and with the telephoto lens I was able to get close up of graduation photos...great. Don't know why sometimes images don't focus and I cannot click photos Then I try again and it's okay. By then it's too late to snap the photos. Can someone explain.

Love how I can be sitting up I bleachers and zoom right in on my subject. Takes awesome pics. Only draw back, have to switch lens to take a picture closer.

Best lens you can get without adding adapters. Good picture quality. Much better than standard lens.

Nice lens easy to use and attach. Comes with a very nice hood. Got it as a bundle so price was nice.

I like the picture quality and easy of use. Anybody could pick this up and takr great pics with little training.

I love the simplicity access to getting closer, changing out lenses are fairly simple. It comes with all the protective cases so you can just switch lens with protection, they twist on and off for a quick switch. Unlocking the lens automatically turns your camera on to zoom and shoot. I use the 30-110 zoom for concerts, it's been working great.

I have only got to play with my new lens a few times but so far I'm loving it!!

Excellent ZOOM LENS but it is difficult to use it if want a normal picture without so big zoom. Understood that this is the reason of the zoom but I do not have other because the original is out of order.

This lens has been so fun to use! It works seemlessly with my aw1 camera. I was a bit worried when I first got it and how the interchangeable lens would work with my camer, but so,far everything has been working great!

it was ok for what i needed but it would have been better if it was a little more powerful than this one but there wasn't another option @ this point!

The original lens is sufficient for every day picture taking. The 30-110 is a must have for camera. Truly a game changer.

I used it only few times since I bought and I love the quality and the big zoom.

This lens combined with the Nikon J3, took photos that made me look like a Pro, and am not.
