Yes always when purchasing any devices you always want to assure that you are able to have warranty on any device just to be on the safe side thank you best buy

I have not used this service yet for any of the new products, however I did use it for a virus years ago and thought it was excellent. I would trust them for any issues with the new PC.

Our HP all-in-1 was knocked off the desk, hit the chair and landed on the floor. The mishap resulted in a cracked screen and the computer would not power on. Took it to the Geek Squad. They had it repaired and ready for pick up in less than a week. Cost to repair would have been $800 if we didn't have this 2-year accidental protection; so this plan is worth every penny.

Have already used this service during television setup. Technician was very helpful. Had the problem resolved in just a few minutes.

I had to buy a new computer because my old All-in-One was using Windows 7, and Microsoft kept alerting me that they would no longer support that system. So, I purchased my new PC at Best Buy, and then took in my old computer and asked the Geek Squad to transfer all of my data to the new one. I had lots of files, including many email files, and I was worried because at first one of the associates told me that the emails couldn't be transferred. But then "Hutch" took over, and he was not only able to transfer all my files, he also set everything up for me and made sure that I understood how to use all of it. (And for an "older grandma" in her 70's, that was VERY important!) I can't thank Hutch enough for all of his help, and I highly recommend the Geek Squad for everything technical! (They'll even come out to your house and set up your TV for you!) Thanks, Hutch, and all of you Geeks!

Made me feel safe while I had it, however they told me to upgrade my computer with them I'd have to pay nearly 100 dollars extra, and honestly if I'm paying as much as I am for this insurance I kinda wished I would've also gotten at LEAST a discount on servicing like upgrading the computer or device by having it brought in for the building.
