Roku Pro Sub kicks!

Went through a Vizio and a LG soundbar w/ sub and bookshelves, both went back to store. Roku pro was so good i bought 2 pro soundbars, 2 pro subs, and 8 bookshelves! My living room AND bedroom rumble!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im a fan of Roku, & just recently bought the full 5.1 surround sound system (running Roku streambar pro, with 4 roku speakers & this roku pro subwoofer). Im personally not a fan of this subwoofer because it is not very powerful & has limited bass adjustablility. If you are a beginner, or want something very easy & user friendly, this is it. If you dont like very much bass, this is also it. It is clean, functional & doesnt distort at all when turning the volume all the way up. However, I want powerfull bass, the kind of bass that makes your heart pound & rattles the walls. The kind of bass you can feel. This is not it, not even close. Its also stupid roku hasnt ebabled being able to hook up 2 subwoofers yet as this system definately needs 2 subwoofers. With that said, its better than just a soundbar & better than tv speakers. If you want something cheap, easy, user friendly, or for a small bedroom, & value for the money, get this. If you want hard hitting bass or a sound system for the house or living room... stay away, you will be dissapointed!

As a bass enthusiast, you've likely already played with the settings, but as a quick tip, each user can fine-tune their listening experience by adjusting settings like sound modes, speech clarity, and volume modes. To increase your bass settings, navigate to "sound modes" and try selecting "Bass boost" to enhance the deep bass sound you're looking for.
If you haven't already, you may also try placing your subwoofer in a corner or closer to a wall, rather than at the front of your TV setup. As sound waves reflect off other surfaces, especially a flat surface like a wall, this will typically produce a louder bass sound.

Very little volume or punch. And it makes a popping sound constantly which is a known problem for Roku but they refuse to address. When it does function it just doesn't add much to the overall sound experience. There are much better options out there at this price point, If they cannot fix the popping noise by an update i will most likely stop using it.

Fits nicely in the corner of my small-ish living room behind my couch. The sound quality is equivalent to my other Roku items (soundbar and the 2 speakers) which is fantastic! As a whole system it makes movie nights and tv watching much more enjoyable. I highly recommend, especially at the affordable price.

It is perfectly balanced with the Streambar giving movies and music a rich sound. This is not a "boom-boom" overpowering sub which some like; rather, it is a proper reinforcement to the overall sound. Buyers can adjust the overall sub using the Roku setup menu for EQ and selecting from sound types. It's basic stuff - movies sound better with the movie setting and music better in the music setting and so forth.
