I have had the product for almost 3 months and the speakers will no longer connect to the main soundbar. They just keep blinking and nothing happens at all.

Was great at first but is longer working. Was going in and out and then just stopped working. Going to return it.

It’s complicated , one month later & still can’t figure it out. Thought it would of been easier.

The speakers wireless no funtional with the sound bar sjy5 lg.

Speakers stopped working after the first day. It sounds like birds.

Geek squad could not get this product to work with LG sound bar.

Product was recalled my manufacturer. Obviously, issues.

Works great. Sounds good too. The only issue is that the required sound bar (LG sj4y or sj5y) are not available at present from Best Buy. I had to find the sound bar somewhere else. Connects with the sound bar instantaneously and performs with no glitches. Do not try to pair with any other sound bar as it will not work.

It's impossible to review these without one of the compatible soundbars: either the SJ5Y or SJ4Y. I bought the SJ5Y + surround kit. BB has a promo for the SJ5Y for $299 and an additional $99 ($30 off of the kit itself when paired with the LG soundbars) for the surround kit. They aren't true wireless. The rear speakers connect via speaker wires to an external amplifier which is wireless besides the power cable. Setup was a breeze -- all I had to do was turn on HDMI ARC on my soundbar and turn on HDMI CEC in the settings on my LG OLED TV. My living room is very small and the default rear levels are low. I'd recommend going into the soundbar settings and upping the "R" levels to 2-4 depending on the size of your living room. They can ONLY be controlled by the sound bar settings, which is counter-intuitive to the whole "one smart remote" system that LG is pushing for. The sound itself is fine. I was comparing these to the Bose and Sonos wireless setups, and I preferred both systems to the LG one. However the Bose and Sonos setup cost upwards to $1500+ for the surround setup, which is not something I was a fan of. The rear speakers sound a bit hollow being very small drivers (look up the dimensions) and can't push that much air. But for movies, the separation of ambient sound and true surround is better than the simulated surround you get from a single source. I'd only recommend these if you're deep into the closed LG ecosystem. It works nicely with my B6 OLED TV and having the smart remote and auto connection to the TV was great. The issue comes with future upgradability. If you're the type to constantly seek the best sound and new components then this isn't for you. But for my needs: 4K Blu-Rays and movies are absolutely stunning on the OLED and surround setup.

We purchased the soundbar which was phenomenal. And then got this to add extra sound. Perfect surround sound effect at an insanely affordable price.

I was already happy with the sound bar and sub woofer but am very happy I added these to round out the system, was very easy to set up and has worked flawlessly ever since. The sound is great, can really crank it up with no distortion. Open box pricing!

Recently linked these up with my sj4 soundbar and found they where too loud for the sound bar. Even all the way turned down they're still loud. I wish LG would have made it to where you can lower the rear speakers to mute. Not just a preset minimum volume setting. I will probably keep them because I put crossovers on them which made them pretty quiet I just don't like how I had to take an extra step when a simple program setting could have taken care of it. On top of that they where crackling on loud volumes because they try to reproduce too much bass which makes them distort. I'd only recommend because these speakers go with the soundbar. It's easy to connect and control but beware they are very overpowering for the sj4 soundbar.

Advertised as wireless. I received a box with NO "Rear Speaker Wire" as it says included. Had to go back and purchase Speaker Wire an extra $20. All employees said was that's weird it usual comes with the kit, Not helpful...The speakers themselves are WIRED to the receiver unit which is connected to the soundbar wireless!
