Just great storytelling again from Vanillaware. They make games where you have to immerse yourself into the story. Initially it did not seem to be a type of game I would be interested in but with COVID and staying at home this became one of my top gaming experiences. It’s a simple game that you just can’t put down. The battle sequence felt like a really fancy mobile game.

The art is even more beautiful than Vanillaware's previous games. The story is very mystery and character driven and very entertaining. Its superbly unique. The battle mechanics are also surprisingly very fun. Normal mode is quite easy if you're more playing for the story and don't enjoy combat, but if you are wanting a challenge, I recommend hard mode.

I am extremely satisfied with my product. The game was packaged nicely, and the game came right on time. I prefer to buy my video games here, because I do not like my games to have stickers on them. Regarding the game, I am enjoying it so far. I usually despise strategy/turnbased game and i havent put this game down since i got it. 10/10 game.

Great visuals with a moving story great work from ATLUS again

If you've ever been curious about adventure games, or how video games as a medium can tell a story different than other mediums... this is your game. 13 characters whose stories are interwoven intelligently, this game is a must have for people who love a good story. It just casually drops narrative bombs that blow your mind like it's nothing.

If you are a plot-oriented gamer, or a fan of 2D Japanese AVG, I guarantee you would not be disappointed for picking up this game. The plot is so complex and intertwined. While at some point you might think you get the truth, but believe me, you are going be surprised and amazed later, and maybe several times. And for any later reviewers for the game, please do NOT provide any detailed spoilers. As with such a game, for any gamer who want to pick it up, it would be a "crime" for us to do that before they start.

Great art style, unique story telling and creative game play. You mix strategy and action in this Pacific Rim style epic from the creators of Odin Sphere and Dragon’s Crown.

If you like visual novels with a touch of RTS combat, then this is the perfect game for you. I mostly enjoyed the game through the stories of the characters. The combat is not something I cared for and honestly, didn't need to be included. With that said, I wholeheartedly recommend this game.

If you enjoy science fiction stories, then this game is for you. The story pays homage to sci-fi classics, such ad War of the Worlds, E.T., and Neon Genesis Evangelion. The graphics are gorgeous 2d that vanillaware is known for. Also, there is gameplay in the form of RTS battles that are fun and gives you a breather from the story.

I haven't played a game like this before but it had an interesting visual novel style story along with a real time strategy element. The pacing can be awkward since its up to you how many battles you can do vs exploring the story, but it was a beautiful and fun game.

This is a great game, not sure how I missed it since I've usually grabbed all the Vanillaware games at launch (Muramasa has probably been my favorite). Like other games they've made, it mashes up genres in a way that is greater than the sum of its parts, and the story is interesting.

The game is quite the pretty one. Very good artwork and animation that is befitting of Vanillaware. Those that liked Dragon's Crown will see the wonderful animation in full display here. However the over sexualized or overtly out of proportion body image is not on display here. If you want something that's a little less beat em up and a bit more strategy with more in depth character development, 13 Sentinels is a good buy.
