Things I like include the processor speed, the storage capacity, the screen resolution and the keyboard's feel. What I do not like is the magnetic power cord. My previous MacBook Pro used the more reliable, in my opinion, USB-C Power cord system.

I’ve been an Apple user across a number of devices for a long time and finally needed to upgrade my iMac. I purchased this latest M5 laptop and it’s amazing. Speed, display and battery life are all excellent. The best part of this upgrade was using Apple’s built in Migration Assistant which was so easy to use to move all my data, files and apps from my iMac to my new laptop. Total transfer process took about 3 hours but worked perfectly.

Overall, I feel that this MacBook has not only served me well in its fast speeds and long battery life, but also for the main reason I use it which is music writing! It has little to no delay and helps me be creative in my writing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the music industry!

This MacBook Pro is simply awesome. I know some of the high-end M4 chips are faster, but the M5 is plenty fast, especially for every day activities and it also provides future proofing with AI extensions. The one terabyte storage should outlast the life of the unit, as I barely use the 256 GB I had on my last MacBook. The 24 GB memory makes everything silky, smooth and fast. The new black color looks awesome. Overall, I am totally stoked about this unit! The price I paid at Best Buy was also incredible. Could not be happier.

I love this new M5 MacBook Pro. Upgraded from an older Intel based MacBook Pro which I really liked and was in great shape when I traded it in. However, this new MacBook Pro is at a whole different level. It’s screaming fast. I like the design it’s rock solid. The battery life is amazing. I like that they’ve gone back to a magnetic charger so now I don’t have to worry about somebody catching my charging cable and damaging anything and it’s got just the right ports. All in all I could not be happier.

It’s faster than the previous Apple laptop, has more storage, and handles content creation with ease.

Had my other computer for 9 years and a lot of the keys were popping off so I was forced to get a new one. Chat gpt also helped me pick this one out based on my needs. It is soooooo fast, sleek, love the finger ID access for passwords and things. The battery I swear never dies! I used to live attached to outlets with my old one but this computer lasts forever! So glad I upgraded!

Amazing as expected. It can easily handle extensive workflows like photo/video editing and software development. It always runs for hours before I have to get up for charging. On top of that, the M5 chip offers superior overall performance. You must go for it if you have similar workflows like me.

Although M4 MacAir and M5 MacPro are pretty close in performance, this MacPro is better in sound, screen resolution and built in ports. Also, the option of a 1TB hard drive puts it in front of the MacAir. It’s a bit more expensive, buts it’s worth the investment if you are not really tight on budget or stay at least 5 years with the same hardware.

The upgrade from the Macbook Air M1 to the Macbook Pro M5 was well worth it. Better battery life that virtually lasts ALL day, significantly better and faster performance for heavy video editing, gets the job done, and doesn't freeze up. I have been using the Macbook Pro M5 for around a month and still have zero complaints.

I recently updated to this M5 MacBook Pro from an intel based 2019 MacBook Pro. Wow - what a difference! Exponentially faster, and I haven’t heard my fan a single time. Apple silicon has changed the game and I am so glad I upgraded before starting my MBA program.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro has been excellent for my daily work. Performance is fast and smooth even with multiple apps running, the display is sharp and easy on the eyes, and battery life easily lasts through the day. It feels solid, reliable, and well worth the investment.

Upgraded from my Mid 2012, which still runs great only I can’t upgrade the operating system anymore. This one is much faster, starts quick, battery life is great, and it feels pretty sturdy. So far so good. Hope I can get over 10 years out of this thing

I’ma long time Mac user. I’m particularly happy with the battery life and the display sharpness on this iteration of the Mac Book. I also appreciate that they went back to the magnetic connection for the power cord.

This is an impressive laptop. Handles photo and video editing with ease. Everyday tasks are no issue and games work well with no slowdowns. I upgraded from a 2018 MacBook with the Intel chip and the M5 is incredible. If you own an older MacBook, do yourself a favor and upgrade to this machine!

The new M5 Works Great! Fast downloads and very quiet.

I have used MacBook Pro at my work for almost 10 years. Just one laptop for 10 years. I never had one personal laptop. This is my first personal laptop, I recently purchased new M5 MacBook Pro before a couple of weeks. I purchased at my age of 40, and after 15 years of Information Technology experience. And it is my own funded laptop, and not sponsored from my family or anyone. I have not updated the laptop till now, even my laptop was prompting to update the security update. Performance : 5/5 Ease of Use : 4.5/5 Battery : 5/5 Support : 3/5 Security : 😕 (Confused Smiley) Because, I don't know why security update is there Few simple words, if you need to do your work fast and get it done quickly, just go with it.

Excellent laptop with premium quality. The MacBook Pro delivers outstanding performance, a beautiful display, and long battery life. It’s great for professionals and creatives. The price is high, but the quality and reliability make it worth it.

wanted to replace my 2019 mbp 16 inch screen. wanted something smaller for easier travel. so far so good! can't wait to start video editing on it to really see the performance upgrade
