Great college and overall laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I'll start off by saying I have a desktop, so I just needed something portable and do more than the basic. For Black Friday, I decided to splurge on this laptop than get a Chromebook. This was only a 100 bucks more than the one I wanted. If you want a basic laptop, but would like to use word, excel ect.. this is a great Laptop to get. The screen isn't great. But honestly give it a day, I can't tell the difference. The pen is great and I love the tablet feature. Onenote is a great and highly recommended. AMAZING speakers. Best speakers that I've ever had on a laptop. I've had more expensive laptops before that had beats speakers, and these beat them hands down! This laptop is quick and super lightweight. Weighs as much as my mother's 11in dell. amazing. Not backlit but this doesn't feel cheap. I get about 6hrs on high brightness doing youtube and writing essays. You can probably get 7-8hr at a low brightness and powers saver mode on. Great charger too, doesn't fly out easily and lightweight. I'd honestly only recommend this laptop for the price I bought it for 400$. I wouldn't pay the 550 that it retails for. Highly recommended for any student needing a good laptop and able to take notes, but not breaking the bank. If the screen resolution is a problem for you, skip this.

STAY AWAY FROM HP 2x1 Laptops
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked fine for a month then started having all kinds of problems with the laptop. Specifically, the screen turning black and the laptop just powering off. Taking it to geek squad services and they're telling me it will be at minimum 1 month before the laptop will be serviced.

Worth the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it during Thanks Giving Sale. For the price tag, this is really worth it. The Stylus/Pen is very useful while editing pictures!

Nice, versatile laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a great computer, fast and sharp screen quality with versatile viewing angles. My only complaint is that HP keeps informing they will no longer support this product after 3 years.

Still runs after 4 years!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This isn't my primary computer anymore, but I did have a great—albeit slow—time with this machine. I now use an HP Spectre x360, which is worlds faster with its SSD and other higher specs, but my old Pavilion really went through the ringer with audio and video editing. It also introduced me to the great laptop-tablet-hybrid experience and kept me far away from Macs. These x360 types of computers are great for setting on a music stand and using for sheet music during a church service! I'm convinced that I should upgrade this to an SSD and use it for its smaller footprint.

Best Product Ever!(For 10 Months)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An awesome 2 in 1 laptop for college, business, gaming, and anything else you can think of. I used this product as a personal laptop for two college courses, and it performed well; however, the display stopped working after ten months of light use. I sent it back to HP to have things fixed yet the display was left in non-working condition. I love best Buy, but I simply will not give any more money to HP since they refuse to fix their defective products. Do not expect any help from HP.

Good Laptop but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's slow to startup, meaning that the computer needs a couple seconds of no activity in the beginning before you can do stuff. and the keyboard doesn't light up which sucks. But this is a good laptop.

Hate this computer!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it in August 2017 for school and it was a terrrible decision. The computer never wants to turn on. I had to contact HP support twice a week for troubleshooting and still would not turn on. Waste of money and time.
