Although the laptop is a little bulky and heavy compared to other thin laptops, for the price it is a great buy with enough memory and cpu resources. I love the performance and the look. The numpad definitely comes in handy which a lot of laptops today do not come with.

Yes, this is a cheap computer. No, it doesn't have a bunch of bells and whistles, it will never be a gamer's system, but it gets the job done. Each employee at our company has one and we push a lot through them and they handle everything efficiently, without any problems. I am very pleased!

the laptop was low priced. shipped here on time. the speed was a little slower than i expected.

I needed a basic laptop for everyday and work use. I made myself crazy with the different options and specifications and was so confused about which option to go with i held off. Since my employer wasn’t helping with the cost, i needed anything affordable to get the job done. This one had the same specs as my 2012 laptop so i decided to give it a try. For $279 i figured i couldn’t lose. I brought it home and was amazed at how nice it performed for a budget laptop. I am not a gamer so i didn’t need the best graphics, not editing any photos or videos. I found it pretty impressive based on a couple of weeks of use. It does have some brief lagging at times but it will get the job done. My only regret is that i didn’t go with the i5 model. As i think about upgrade options, i see Best Buy has some other HP options with improved specs. This will be my daily driver for 2018 but i will return to upgrade once my budget improves a little. 100% satisfied

Laptop is good, entry-level product. We liked because it offered reasonably strong performance (both in processor and memory) at a reasonable price. Paid $239 on sale at Best Buy. We like the touch screen, so my younger kids have an easier time learning to use. It's a bit slow on boot-up, but it has all the essentials one would need. It is a good, entry-level laptop with strong features. You'll enjoy.

Got this for daughter she loved it plays games a lot on it can do college with it too

Not that fast, but fine for school work. My college daughter noticed the difference in speed, but the 6th grader didnt

So far I’ve only used this laptop for about 2 weeks and it’s been working great for me. It has enough cpu power that i need for my daily task. I’ll recommend this to the causal gamer as well. It’s not going to play every AAA title that’s out there but it’s still good for games that has less gpu dependency.

My daughter loved it. Very nice, I was hoping to get office 365 but never received ed it so she is very disappointed in that. But the laptop is very nice

Bought this PC at Best Buy two weeks ago and within the first few days I had issues. 1) Random reboots. 2) Very slow to boot up sometimes. Usually battery removal helps somewhat. 3) The PC cannot handle having the internet browser open while a Word or Excel file is open. It basically froze up and after finally closing one or the other it was better but still slow. I am writing this as I clean off this computer and return it to buy a faster and more than 4gb memory. 4) Battery drain is very fast. Be prepared to keep screen dim or stay by a power source. Would recommend buying additional battery and memory upgrade from 4gb if you are buying it. Besides that, it is a very nice, lightweight laptop with great keyboard and screen. My only other small gripe is that there isn't a illuminated power button. You press on and listen to the HD spinning to know its booting up and with a very slow boot and black screen still after 10 seconds, you really begin to see the lacking power. Would not recommend. Returning upon completion of review today.

Purchased this to check email and print out scripts. The unit boots up fine, a little slow but as I stated for the price and it is a windows machine. I’m used to chromebooks. I am going to add memory soon and that should make this unit totally perfect for my tasks. It has shut down out of the blue only twice. But all in all it is a totally acceptable machine.

this product allowed me to start using a windows 10 product without problems that I anticipated. I am not very tech savvy and this laptop is a good transition from older Toshiba, etc lap tops
