This is a nice laptop for the price. Purchased for our younger boys to play online games and do the basics needed on a computer. Recommended

Laptops don't last so this was a replacement for an old Vista version that had died It's lighter, seems more powerful but the display is not as detailed. Definitely not a Windows 10 fan but no choice there other than a Chromebook.

It is easy to set up/operate this lap top No problem up to now

This laptop is going to blow anyone away but it’s a solid computer for the price. You can’t beat something that will do all the basics consistently for a $250 price tag.

We use it for homeschool. Easy to use and setup. Has plenty of hard drive space to do homework and run all software programs.

This unit has all the functions including wifi, blue ray, and dvd. It includes netflix direct and all the features one would look for at this price point. Couldn't see paying three times the price for the same features.

We've has the laptop for a few month's and it's been great so far. It comes loaded with a lot of bloatware which can be deleted to help the machine boot up and run a little faster. Great basic laptop for the price.

I got this laptop for my mom last Christmas and it's a good laptop for basic use. I wiped the hard drive from all initial software so it would run a little better and it rarely has any problems.

I had bought a very similar HP model more close to two years back and it is still running good. Pros: This was very similar in specs but obviously 50 dolllars cheaper (with time) and had a one time sale offer. It was great value for money for a basic computer that you can stream on (not gaming), work on Office applications etc. Cons: Power button could be a bit more visible (sometimes you don't realize you pressed it). Also HP batteries have a recent tendency to drain out in a year and half, so am a bit worried about that. Overall good value for money for a basic computer.

We use our laptop for general web browsing, it’s prefect! Love the price too and the amount of storage it comes with.

Got this laptop at Best Buy when it was on sale I love it it has a lot of memory and does everything I needed to do.

I bought this computer for personal use for my new small business. It is a little slow compared to my work computer, but overall it works fine. I would recommend for basic everyday use. Good price.

We had had good experience with the HP laptops, especially combined with the BestBuy service contract. We bought this particular model because it was at the "sweet spot" for being modestly priced, yet having enough RAM and hard disk to be useful for regular office work, watching moves, etc. For traveling on an airplane, you might want to get a physically smaller model. This one is OK on a plane, except for Spirit Air, where the seats are *really* cramped.

It’s okay I’ve had it for like an year and it’s been slow since the first day I got it and it has problems but I can kinda work with it

Well-equipped and once initialized works well. Easy to use. Added wireless mouse and keyboard for personal convenience. Wanted a reliable inexpensive laptop for a beginner and this fit the bill.

The laptop works just fine. I am not a fan of Windows 10 so it is taking me a bit to get used to it. Otherwise, it is great for the price I paid.
