So far so good. I haven’t had the laptop very long yet but so far it works great. Everything is fast and smooth. I wish the solid state hard drive was a little bigger but Other than that, it has worked great for what I need it for.

Boot time and speed is good. Touch feature works well.

Had some difficulty turning it on one day and when I tried the number to Hp for help because brochure said we had 90 days free assistance by phone if we Liked it directed me to use the website but couldn’t get on laptop so was frustrated Then figured I would hold power buttons together like my phone to reboot and it worked

This laptop has been great for our college son. It’s reliable and he’s had no issues with it since we purchased it a while back. The screen is a good size and easy to read when he has to write those long papers. We have another kid who will be entering college soon and will definitely consider getting him the same laptop.

The computer is everything that I hoped it would be for my personal use. I really like the wide screen display and the HD graphics. The only thing about this is the charging cord gets real HOT and this is a concern as I don’t want a fire in my home. Great computer for the money!

I really like this laptop, it's the first one I have bought and I have been very please with how it has worked from the initial set up to every day use. This is definitely a laptop I would recommend, especially for someone who is doing online classes.

For a mid-ranged priced laptop, it works great. Plenty of RAM to run the programs I need and a great display with a touchscreen. Fast start up times and I haven’t had an issues with slow-downs or crashing. All in all a good laptop for your average working professional.

I'm very pleased with this laptop. I got everything I wanted except a backlit keyboard, and I did get several things that weren't on the Samsung that I returned. I got these things that the Samsung did not have: ethernet port, CD/DVD writer, numeric keypad, and an SD card slot! And I saved $140. Love it.

I've never had a laptop with a SSD. Now that I do, I'll never go back to SATA. So much faster, quieter, and smoother. Start-up is so satisfyingly quick. And the fact that this laptop came with 12 GIGS OF RAM for this price is unbelievable! Very happy with my purchase.

We bought this to be our main home computer. This fits our needs really well. We do mostly word processing, surfing the internet and playing simple games like solitaire or Candy Crush. This is a great machine for such purposes. We would make the same choice again.

The wife & boy needed a new laptop so she can use it for her arts & crafts, and him for his schooling, and so they can stay off of mine ha ha. They both seem to enjoy it, and the boy is going to start making youtube videos, I hope he makes lots of $, and shares.

If your looking for an overall nice laptop for business or school work and have a budget, this is a great match for the price. Super fast start up and loading speeds. If you need more space then what a Solid State Drive offers then you can always buy external storage.

Not really a fan of laptops, but we needed one for the daughter's school work. We are a apple family... we use iphones, ipads, etc... going back to a regular computer took some getting used to. Probably would of had better luck had we bought a desktop.

The computer starts up and shuts down very quickly. I have not owned a HP computer before and I was very pleasantly surprised. I have no complaints about anything and would defnitely recommend it. I particularly like having the CD player and number pad.

Mostly happy with the lap top, but not so happy with the data transfer. They were apparently not able to transfer some of the apps such as Microsoft Office and others. Now I have to try to find my old CD discs in order to re load them. I hate that.
