The solid state hard drive improved the speed of operation greatly Only wish I purchased the laptop with a more larger ssd drive.

My mother loves this CPU. It work pretty fast, and the touch screen make its easy to tap windows easily.

After many research I have made my mind to purchase this laptop. First i was confuse with the Flesh HDD, but after seeing others review and experience i made my mind to purchase HP laptop. Using this laptop almost from last two month now and the speed is great. it will hardly take 40-50 second to boot up and will be ready for operating less then a min. Removing one star because with flash HDD Vs preloaded software took almost 40 to 45 GB, so available memory is only 70 to 80 GB from 120 GB.

This laptop is fast and the touchscreen is a nice bonus!

I bought this for my son to play Steam video games and he did not have issues with his games on an old computer except for lagging. I updated Windows immediately on startup. We downloaded his games and kept getting a DirectX error. I tried all troubleshooting I could find online with no results. I ended up on my own going into the settings and doing what is basically a factory reset which reinstalled everything including windows. After that it worked just fine and he loves his computer.

i am pleased with this computer; after my Samsung laptop got a virus and crashed. I had an HP 15 years ago and it worked well so I thought I'd give HP another chance. Few bells and whistles, simply the basics. Great screen, good speakers, and the touch screen aspect is nice though seldom used. Nothing fancy, just a good basic unit.

This computer is easy to use, fast, and best of all it’s a touch screen making selections easier.

I got this lab top for college courses online. This computer works great, it is super fast. The price was great.

Wasn't looking for anything for gaming, just for internet access, word processing, and some spreadsheet and power point stuff. Much much faster than my last laptop since this one came with a solid state drive, which is the thing I'm happiest about. The smaller memory with solid state is no big deal for me, as the faster speed is far more important to me. Can always buy additional memory cheap. Also wanted one with a DVD player which has worked well so far.

Would recommend this laptop for all touch screen and fast great for home school or work

I love the touch screen & that it is very responsive to the touch without being over sensitive or under responsive. I am very disappointed with the camera quality as I asked the salesman about that before purchase and he assured me it would meet my needs. I was also very disappointed that it doesn't have your basic Microsoft Word installed (30 day trial only). I do have to say that for a laptop the audio sound isn't bad, definitely better then the last laptop that I had. It does have some really neat 3D animated picture & video graphics I ran across that are really pretty cool. Oh, and the HP online tech support is AMAZING! they were able to do some fixes for me after an update which i just got to sit back and watch them do without needing to leave my home or talk with someone on the phone. the page loading speed is great considering the purchase price. I don't like waiting for my pages to load and it hasn't made me feel like I was using an old dial-up connection (like my last laptop did-Lenovo). I do also like that I can multi task desktops and also stream videos in the corner of my screen while surfing the web, etc. The only reason I rate it at a 3 is because I know there are other laptops out there that do so much more. if I rate it standing alone I would probably give it a 4.

Just bought this laptop after my surface touch screen stopped working. I actually love the larger size and the quick response of the websites. The CD player is an advantage to me since I still have a lot of pictures/documents on disks. It almost feels like I am on a regular computer. It feels and looks very sturdy.
