Not favorite laptop, it seems flimsy. Loved my previous, a small Dell with a lighted keyboard; didn't realize how important. Like the added no. keypad, but it makes the laptop heavier & bulkier. Love having a touch screen. Only 256 gig memory, & got external HD for storage. Won't do that again; a real nuisance!

So far the computer is all that I wanted, quicker, touch screen and new features.

The laptop is fast, some features are great others not so good (Windows 10 takes some getting used to).

Never had a touch screen before. I love it. So simple to use. So lightweight.

This laptop is great for the family. Screen is a good size and the keyboard feels good. I like the touch screen but I do not use it as much. I prefer the finger pad. My only complaint (and this may not be unique to this model) is I have to pay for Microsoft apps every year. I miss just having Office fully loaded on my laptop when I purchase it.

We like the solid state machine as it starts up quickly and seems to run well without much fuss. It has Windows ten and that has not been a problem so far. Everything seemed to work out of the box. We haul it around to be able to do some presentations for some classes. Overall, it works fine so far.

Well it's about as bare bones basic as it gets, it does fine running recording studio software and a flight simulator though which means it does pretty decent for a bare bones basic notebook but storage can fill up as Windows 10 and the "factory out of the box" computer uses a crazy high amount of memory for so little....

This laptop has tremendous value. Faster, quieter than my desktop I looked everywhere for a laptop with my requirements. DVD drive, lan port for strong internet and 12g ram all for under $600! The first i bought was defective so I was nervous but when I tried to find a better deal I couldnt and bought this HP again. No problems except weak wifi (lan connection is perfect)

I had no clue what to buy and we are not technically inclined. to my delight the voice recognition helped greatly with the set up, it came with 6 months webroot protection, which was a challenge but we over came that easy enough. with the touch screen, a mouse or by hand it is easy for any preference to use, really love this laptop.

Found this one at a good price, i5, has an SSD and touch screen. Fantastic

I am glad I was able to purchase an open box HP 15.6 touchscreen. It's nice! I like how fast it responds with touch. I downsized to 15.6 from 17.3. I typically use a monitor with my laptop. I will be picking out a monitor in the near. I recommend the laptop. I am impressed with HP with all the diagnostic apps to make you be aware of all the computer can and will do. It's a step or 2 above the base processors!
