Made a big mistake going to HP from Dell. Screen quality resolution is bad. Cannot use SKYPE on this laptop.

I returned it because for the price, I wanted something with a few more features.

Not good quality if you need to play cds or dvds. Doesn't hold its value for that reason.

Windows updates took out the sound - returned item

Sales associates were great but product has issues.

Too cheap poor wifi antenna. Very low quality and only 5 chip not a 7. Move on.

Didn't last very long. One day the screen went black wouldn't come back on. Purchased new battery still nothing. Had to purchase new one.

This laptop does not connect will to the internet . I would not recommend this for anyone. We looked at other reviews and the same thing was mentioned by others .

It is wayyy to loud, heavy and huge. I returned it the day after I got it. It was ssd but felt like it was still a bit on the slow side

Has all you need. Excellent quality, and you get alot for your money.

I've been using this computer for a few weeks now and I really love how fast it is. the setup was amazingly fast, very little bloatware to delete. The solid state drive really is amazingly fast, though limited, but certainly more than I need for my business applications (MS Office etc.) My one gripe is that the WiFi card is NOT dual band and doesn't receive 5mhz signal, so my wifi speeds are limited. I think this is a bit misleading because the card does say bgn but setup won't let you access n. Any computer at this price point should have the latest wifi card. My speeds are a quarter of what I should be getting. It does get the 2.4 signal well, but it still it throttling my speeds. If I were doing more media I would be very disappointed.

I love this touchscreen laptop. I’ve had no problems so far.

The specs for the hp 15-da0014dx as reported on the HP support site are "Hard drive 128 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD" however Device Manager lists a low-end SATA M.2 SSD as installed: "SanDisk SD9SN8W-128G-1006".. which is only a fifth the speed of an NVMe SSD. I made a purchase decision based on a visit to the HP site with the Best Buy clerk in attendance. I've been in contact with HP Support for an hour last night: they say they'll get back to me tomorrow. The Passmark score for this SanDisk drive is only 4,000 while typical NVMe drives are at least triple that. I wouldn't buy a system with such a low-capacity SSD unless it was NVMe. Windows Update is agonizingly slow too for a system that is supposed to be fast: two fails with the Windows 1803 Feature Update. The positives: programs load very fast and the system is responsive. Build quality is adequate. Battery life is fair too. For most folks, this is a fine system but I really would prefer that the system specs matched those promised on the HP web site.
